We are seeking a seasoned Finance and Accounting Expert with at least 15 years of experience in project accounting, financial control, and fixed asset accounting ideally within the technology, professional services, or cybersecurity industry. This role is pivotal in establishing and managing a robust framework for project costing, profitability analysis, revenue recognition, and asset capitalization, acting as a strategic bridge between Finance, Operations, and Project Delivery teams. The candidate will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) and IFRS standards related to asset accounting (such as IAS 16, IAS 38), as well as adherence to Saudi Aramco s Controller s Group Governance Framework. As a company in a growth stage, our financial systems and policies are evolving. Therefore, we are looking for someone flexible, hands-on, and willing to contribute across all areas of finance and accounting from high-level financial analysis to operational transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and improve project costing models for accurate tracking of direct and indirect costs and project-level profitability.
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS 15 and internal policy.
• Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to align milestones, timesheets, and billing with finance functions.
• Oversee and improve fixed asset accounting processes, including proper capitalization of tangible and intangible assets (e.g., internally developed software) in accordance with IAS 16 and IAS 38.
• Manage asset lifecycles, including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, retirement, and impairment testing.
• Support the company s compliance with Saudi Aramco Controller s Group Governance Framework, particularly in revenue, fixed asset, and capitalization areas.
• Participate in and support core accounting activities, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and journal entries.
• Lead or support the month-end and year-end closing processes and preparation of financial statements. Provide variance analysis and reporting on project financial performance, costs, and profitability.
• Recommend and implement system/process enhancements (ERP, automation, internal controls) related to costing, asset management, and reporting.
• Mentor junior finance staff and help promote a culture of accuracy, ownership, and compliance.

• Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in project accounting and/or fixed asset accounting in service or technology-based industries.

• Deep understanding of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15, IAS 16, IAS 38, and their practical application in project and asset accounting.
• Experience with enterprise governance and compliance frameworks. Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Expert knowledge of project costing, fixed asset accounting, and capitalization practices.
• Familiarity with internally developed software capitalization and asset classification.
• Strong analytical, modelling, and reporting skills. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
