Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reporting systems that facilitate strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing insights to drive company performance.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational needs.
- Lead the financial audit process, coordinating with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Provide financial guidance and support to department heads, assisting in the development of departmental budgets and resource allocation.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
- Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations to enhance the company's financial portfolio.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the executive team and board of directors, translating complex financial information into actionable insights.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the relevant industry, such as manufacturing, retail, or technology, is preferred to understand specific financial challenges.
- Proven track record of managing large budgets and complex financial forecasting models.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; familiarity with advanced Excel functions is a must.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus for multinational companies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership capabilities, able to motivate and guide finance teams towards achieving business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
