8+ years in Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Mandatory: Real Estate / Construction / Property Management domain experience

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant with strong Real Estate domain expertise. The candidate will lead end-to-end functional implementations, business process mapping, and solution design for large-scale Real Estate operations including leasing, sales, property management, and financial consolidation.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Consulting
- Lead end-to-end D365 F&O implementations (Requirement gathering → Design → Configuration → UAT → Go-live → Post-go-live support).
- Conduct business requirement workshops with Real Estate stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional design documents (FDDs) and solution blueprints.
- Configure and support core D365 F&O modules:
Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting)
Project Management & Accounting
Procurement & Sourcing
Asset Management
Cost Accounting
Real Estate Domain Responsibilities
- Handle Real Estate-specific processes:
Property lifecycle management
Leasing & rental income accounting
CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges
Escalations, revenue recognition, and lease accounting
Property-wise P&L and financial reporting - Support integration with Property Management Systems (PMS) or third-party leasing tools.
- Manage multi-entity, multi-location, and multi-currency Real Estate setups.
Stakeholder & Delivery Management
- Act as a functional lead, mentoring junior consultants.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams for integrations, extensions, and reports.
- Support data migration, cutover planning, and UAT cycles.
- Coordinate with business users, finance teams, auditors, and external vendors.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with IFRS / IND-AS / local statutory requirements.
- Support statutory reporting, audits, and internal controls.
- Design and validate financial and management reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical / Functional Skills
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
- Deep understanding of Finance and Project Accounting modules.
- Experience with Real Estate accounting practices.
- Knowledge of Lease Accounting standards (IFRS 16 / ASC 842) – preferred.
- Strong documentation skills (BRD, FDD, UAT scenarios).
- Experience in data migration, testing, and integrations.
Domain Expertise (Mandatory)
- Real Estate / Construction / Property Management
- Leasing, rentals, asset capitalization, depreciation
- Revenue recognition and cost allocation
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead complex projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or related field
- MBA / CA / CMA – Preferred
Nice to Have
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications (MB-300, MB-310, MB-500)
- Experience with Power BI, Power Platform
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, LCS
