Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee finance and insurance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and risk assessment.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
  • Analyze financial statements and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Manage insurance policies, claims, and risk mitigation strategies for shipping operations.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to optimize financial processes and controls.
  • Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in finance and insurance procedures.

Requirements

  • Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or insurance control, ideally in shipping, logistics, or international trade.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and insurance practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
