Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to mitigate risk and safeguard company assets.
- Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs and investment opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial expertise and support for projects and initiatives.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Evaluate and manage investment opportunities, providing financial modeling and analysis to support investment decisions.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and insights.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Demonstrates 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
- Has a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, US GAAP or IFRS, and financial reporting.
- Exhibits proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- Shows experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Possesses excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exhibits strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of developing and motivating teams.
