Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


The Intern is responsible for handling the incoming volume of vendor invoices – to book invoices daily, accurately, error free. Liaise with the team internally to troubleshoot invoice related issues. Support the payables team for any ad hoc activities.


Responsibilities:


-Receive and verify supplier invoices. Match purchase orders to invoices and enter invoices into ERP

system


-Ensure that supplier invoices are booked in the system accurately & in a timely manner, prevent

past dated invoices


-Assist in resolving discrepancies of invoices against Purchase Orders by liaising with relevant

internal stakeholders


-Supporting team in ad hoc activities related to accounts payable such as reconciliation, month end

closing activities

Desired Candidate Profile


  1. Education:


University Graduate (in Finance/Accounting)


  1. Skills required:


-Good data entry skills


-Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practical application


-Team Player


-Communication skills


-Meet deadlines


Other requirement:


-Basic Excel skills
