Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

As the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial statements, conducting financial analysis, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. This is a leadership position requiring strong financial expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with organizational objectives.

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost optimization.

  • Lead cash flow management, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely payment of obligations.

  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and corporate governance practices.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and business strategy.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants and finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Prepare and present financial reports to internal and external stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master s or professional certifications like CPA or ACCA are a plus).

  • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.

  • In-depth understanding of Moroccan tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
