Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting and ensure accuracy of all financial records.
- Prepare annual financial statements.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in tax computations, returns, and filings.
- Support statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax laws.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel.
- Working knowledge of ERP software Tally or Zoho Books.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of UAE Accounting (IFRS), UAE Corporate Tax, and VAT preferred.
Desired Candidate Profile
Work Experience: 2 8 years in accounting or finance roles
Qualification: CA / CA Intermediate / B.Com / MBA (Finance)
Location Preference: Open to relocating to or currently based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi
