Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert-level technical accounting guidance on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ensuring accurate application and compliance.
Maintain thorough knowledge of UAE accounting legislation and global accounting standards, ensuring all financial activities and reports comply with relevant regulations.
Oversee and manage the reconciliation of accounts, preparation of financial statements, and adherence to local tax regulations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Lead and develop both local and outsourced accounting teams, fostering a culture of high professional standards, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practices in financial management.
Formulate and execute long-term financial strategies and plans based on thorough analysis and interpretation of financial data, supporting the organization's strategic objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies, cost savings, and financial optimization.
Monitor and evaluate financial performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.
Provide high-level advisory support to executive management, offering expert guidance on financial decisions, risk management, and strategic initiatives.
Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the organization, auditors, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters, ensuring transparency and resolution of any issues.
Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and recommendations to key stakeholders, enhancing their understanding of financial performance and implications.

Desired Candidate Profile

Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is mandatory, with a strong background in accounting and financial management.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience in Manufacturing accounting, including managing inventory, sales, and cost of goods sold.
Extensive experience in applying IFRS and maintaining compliance with UAE and international accounting standards.
Proven track record in managing and developing accounting teams, with demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
Expertise in strategic financial planning, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
Excellent communication skills, with experience in advising senior management and liaising with external stakeholders including auditors, vendors, and clients.
