Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations with accuracy and efficiency. • Manage cash flow, fund allocation, and banking activities to ensure financial stability. • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Analyse expenditure trends and monitor financial performance against budgets. • Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, revenue projections, and cost analyses. • Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, including timely submissions. • Review and approve reconciliations, journal entries, and internal financial reports. • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion. • Maintain proper documentation, financial records, and supporting schedules. • Strengthen internal controls, improve accounting processes, and enhance financial systems. • Supervise, guide, and support the finance and accounting team in daily operations. • Train junior finance staff and ensure adherence to company financial procedures. • Support senior management with financial planning, feasibility assessments, and decision-making. • Handle confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications are an advantage. • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including managerial responsibility. • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, UAE VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax. • Excellent skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. • Proficiency in MS Excel and hands-on experience with accounting or ERP systems. • Strong communication, team leadership, and coordination skills. • High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical abilities. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and effectively lead finance staff. • Arabic language will be an added advantage.
