Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for logistics operations (warehousing, transportation, and 3PL services).
- Consolidate financial inputs from operational departments and analyze variances against plan.
- Provide monthly cost-to-budget visibility and recommend corrective actions.
2. Cost Control & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor operational expenditure (OPEX) and cost-per-unit KPIs across all logistics activities.
- Implement financial dashboards and cost control mechanisms to improve efficiency and accountability.
- Track and report on key cost drivers such as transport cost per delivery, cost per pallet, and warehouse utilization.
3. KPI & Business Analysis
- Define and monitor key operational and financial KPIs (e.g., EBITA, Gross Margin, Cost Recovery, Productivity Ratios).
- Partner with Operations to develop performance scorecards and productivity benchmarks.
- Translate operational data into actionable financial insights for management.
4. Reporting & Financial Insights
- Prepare and present monthly management reports highlighting financial performance, budget adherence, and forecasts.
- Ensure financial data accuracy across ERP and reporting systems.
- Support leadership in decision-making through scenario modeling and profitability analysis.
5. Process Optimization & Compliance
- Streamline finance operations processes including invoicing, accruals, reconciliations, and cost allocation by business unit.
- Maintain compliance with Starlinks financial policies and Saudi regulatory standards (ZATCA, VAT, GOSI).
- Liaise with auditors and internal control teams during financial audits.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with relevant department teams to optimize end-to-end cost efficiency.
- Provide financial support for new business initiatives, tenders, and customer pricing models.
- Develop financial models for new contracts, ensuring operational feasibility and profitability.

The role ensures alignment between Finance and Operations through accurate budgeting, cost control, KPI analysis, accountability, challenge and financial reporting.br>This position site under Finance and partners with Operations, Commercial, Sales, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to monitor budget adherence, operational cost trends, and profitability by business unit or service line at a site-by-site level./p>
Job Responsibilities:

- Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum 7 10 years of financial management experience, with at least 4 years in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) and advanced Excel / Power BI for KPI dashboards and analysis.
- CMA / CPA / ACCA preferred.
