Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the General Ledger function, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely closure of books

  • Supervise and manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury operations

  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting cycles

  • Prepare and review trial balances, reconciliations, and financial statements in line with accounting standards

  • Manage banking relationships, cash flow planning, and perform monthly bank reconciliations

  • Ensure robust internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness (internal & external audits)

  • Oversee production and inventory accounting, including cost validation, stock reconciliation, and variance analysis

  • Partner with Production, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Supply Chain teams to ensure financial alignment and efficiency

  • Monitor and improve working capital management, including receivables and payables cycles

  • Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency in accounting systems and reporting

  • Ensure compliance with HSSE policies, workplace safety standards, and reporting protocols

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce; Master’s degree or professional certification (CA/ACCA/CPA) preferred

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting, with 4–5 years in a leadership role

  • Strong exposure to FMCG / Bottling / Manufacturing industry within UAE/GCC

  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls with audit experience

  • Solid expertise in inventory accounting, cost control, and treasury management

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making abilities

  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable with strong ownership and problem-solving mindset
