Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Billing Platform Ownership (Core Mandate)
- Lead the design, development, and rollout of a unified billing system across all verticals
- Ensure seamless integration with operational platforms (WMS, TMS, OMS, YMS, etc.)
- Maintain and continuously enhance the platform to support evolving business needs
2. Business Partnership (Finance & Commercial)
- Act as the primary technology partner to Finance, Commercial, and Operations
- Translate financial and operational requirements into system capabilities
- Support pricing, costing, and contract billing models
- Work closely with Finance leadership on revenue visibility and reporting
3. Delivery Leadership & Execution
- Own backlog, prioritisation, and delivery of billing-related tech initiatives
- Ensure delivery meets timelines, quality standards, and business outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement and agile delivery practices
4. Vendor & Platform Management
- Manage billing system vendors and technology partners (if SaaS/3rd party)
- Oversee contracts, SLAs, and performance
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency of the platform
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
Experience
- 8+ years in finance systems, ERP, or technology roles
- Strong hands-on experience with billing systems or finance modules within ERP platforms
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or multi-vertical environments (preferred)
Certifications (Preferred)
- CPA / CA / CIMA
- ERP certifications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
Key Skills
- Strong finance domain knowledge (billing, invoicing, revenue recognition)
- Experience with ERP and billing platforms
- Data and analytics (Power BI preferred)
- System integration and APIs
- Stakeholder management across Finance and Technology
- Product ownership mindset
- Strong governance and compliance understanding
