Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Tester to support the Bullion Trading Project, focusing on financial system validation, accounting accuracy, and end-to-end GL testing. The role requires a deep understanding of financial accounting, product setup, and system integration to ensure seamless and compliant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of product parameterization, including event configurations and GL allocations.
  • Ensure accurate chart of accounts (COA) mapping for all new product-related transactions.
  • Validate accounting treatment and perform end-to-end General Ledger (GL) testing for financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with technology, business, and operations teams during system setup and all phases of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Verify the correctness of accounting entries across the transaction lifecycle.
  • Support migration activities from an accounting and reconciliation perspective.
  • Participate in go-live readiness and post-implementation validation to ensure financial integrity.
  • Identify gaps, anomalies, or discrepancies in system configurations and coordinate resolutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in Finance and Accounting, preferably with exposure to trading or treasury systems.
  • Hands-on experience in GL validation, UAT, and financial system testing.
  • Familiarity with product parameterization, COA structures, and event accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Prior experience in banking or capital markets projects is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in bullion trading, treasury operations, or core banking systems will be an advantage.
