Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As an experienced Financial Planning Consultant, you will play a key role in contributing to the firm s growth and long-term vision. This position focuses on delivering comprehensive financial planning solutions, developing strong client relationships, and supporting business development initiatives.

You will be expected to apply your expertise in analysing clients financial positions and advising on suitable strategies to help them achieve their long-term financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the firm as part of the Financial Consultant Team
  • Conduct detailed financial planning analysis
  • Schedule and attend client meetings, identifying both short-term and long-term financial needs
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure trust and confidence
  • Actively pursue and develop new business opportunities
  • Lead and manage a Business Development Manager and/or Para-planner
  • Contribute to the overall business strategy and collaborate with internal teams

Advantageous Skills

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as economics, financial planning, or investment analysis
  • Level 4 qualification in financial services (wealth management, financial planning, or insurance)
  • Experience working within or leading a sales team

Desired Candidate Profile

Applicants should have at least three (3) years client-facing experience in wealth management or life insurance advisory, along with recognised investment qualifications (e.g. CISI, CII, or equivalent).

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in wealth management or financial advisory
  • Clean professional record with no history of client dissatisfaction or regulatory sanctions
  • Minimum Level 4 financial services qualification (or equivalent)
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and relationship management
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and able to work independently
