Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of financial analysts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to assess business performance and identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
- Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for management and stakeholders.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across departments to enhance financial planning and decision-making.
- Collect and analyze relevant financial data to provide insights on industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes impacting financial performance
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of senior or managerial experience in financial analysis, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting using Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Technical Skills:
- Financial Modeling: Skilled in building and maintaining complex financial models for performance forecasting, budgeting, and valuation scenarios.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Expertise in advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and macros.
- ERP & Software Proficiency: Experienced in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial software including SUN, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Hyperion, or Anaplan.
- Analysis & Visualization
- Skilled in analyzing large datasets using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization platforms to present insights effectively and clearly.
- Accounting Knowledge
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS, as well as financial statement analysis.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Proven ability to develop, manage, and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Financial Reporting Standards
- Well-versed in regulatory requirements and standards governing financial reporting and compliance.
- Statistical Analysis
- Basic knowledge of statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques for financial and performance trend analysis.
- ERP & BI Tools
- Proficient in using Business Intelligence (BI) tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for data extraction, reporting, and performance tracking.
