Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Performance reporting and insight: Prepare, review, and enhance performance management reports, providing clear, value-adding variance analysis and commentary.
Period close: Manage and support month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment to policies and calendars.
Decision support: Collect data, build models, and perform ad hoc analyses to support business cases and operational decisions; act as the first point of contact for business case assessments.
Problem solving and ownership: Own delivery of assigned tasks end-to-end; independently interpret, diagnose, and resolve issues, escalating only complex matters as needed.
Policy and guidance: Help managers interpret and apply finance policies; provide day to day support for finance delivery in your specialist area.
Governance and judgement: Work within defined guidelines and policies, applying sound judgement to ensure compliance and quality.
Continuous improvement: Identify process gaps and propose changes to enhance efficiency, control, and the effectiveness of finance delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile
2 - 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
Hands-on experience in your specialist area (e.g., reporting, FP&A, or cost management) with a thorough understanding of functional cost drivers.
Experience working within a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional, or global team.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to synthesize findings into clear insights and actions.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis; comfort working with large data sets.
