Roles & Responsibilities

Position: Financial Controller

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (on-site)

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

Our client, a leading company in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and analysis, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to senior management

- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices

- Manage cash flow and liquidity, making strategic decisions to optimize financial resources

- Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor budgets and financial goals

- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management, including presenting financial reports and analysis

- Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing training and development opportunities as needed

- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure the company's financial practices remain compliant and efficient

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational company

- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

- Experience with financial software and systems

- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Proven track record of successfully managing and developing a team

- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and laws is a plus

- Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
