We are looking for a confident, energetic and forward-looking Financial Accountant with a broad base of expertise in financial and management accounting with analytical and risk management skills & experience.

Responsibilities shall include but not limited to…

1) Manage all accounting operations of group companies including Accounts Receivable and Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Management and Revenue Recognition.

2) Analyse weekly payment plan for foreign supplier as per the payment terms and further ensure that the payment is made as per the weekly plan to the respective suppliers.

3) Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities and initiate collection efforts. Consolidate Collection Plan and monitor collection schedules to meet the monthly collection target.

4) Check accuracy of Daily Sales Report for analysing and summarizing information and trends.

5) Check and authorize Daily Invoices raised by Operation Department and follow-up to deliver invoices to the relevant party.

6) Monitor and follow up the shipment schedule and to ensure pre-costing of the expected shipment materials and finalize soon as the shipment arrives with the actual incurred costs.

7) Compile and analyse information to prepare MIS report including monthly stock reports, and expiry/damaged/spoilage items reports.

8) Prepare Annual budget, including Operating and Capital Expenditure budget.

9) Coordinate with banks on foreign currency requirements at regular intervals and maintain good rapport with banks and establish strong relationship.

10) Ensure Company assets are monitored and accurately accounted for and update/maintain the inventory.

11) Monitor & assist to coordinate intercompany transaction & intercompany reconciliation at regular intervals.

12) Track and monitor petty cash disbursement / daily store collections and deposits into the banks.

13) Ensure bank reconciliations are up to date and resolve any accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

14) Ensure accurate timely monthly and year end closer of books of accounts. Ensure that annual statutory external audit is completed immediately after financial year ends and submit the draft audit report to management for review & approval.

15) Monitor tax computation including GST, BPT & WHT and ensure payment deadlines are met. Coordinate and resolve with MIRA for any dispute with regards to GST/WHT/BPT audits and payments.

16) Strength Accounts Team through orientation and guidance and carry out other duties/responsibilities of Finance Department.
