Roles & Responsibilities
Job description:
C&B Consultants is seeking a highly capable and experienced Financial Controller to join our progressive organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who can manage all financial operations and contribute to the company's growth.
Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Reporting:
- Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Prepare and publish timely financial statements.
- Lead the reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger maintenance.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Strategic Planning & Analysis:
- Prepare detailed budget forecasts and monitor expenses.
- Analyze the company's financial health and liquidity, and report on key metrics.
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to management, offering strategic recommendations for future action.
Compliance & Operations:
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns to ensure compliance.
- Manage the debt collection process.
- Ensure timely payments and efficient cash flow.
- Support financial audits and ensure compliance with all financial laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2-3 years in UAE.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and lead an accounting team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial information to various stakeholders.
