Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely standalone and consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS.

MIS Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for financial performance tracking and decision-making.

Quarterly Results: Compile and report quarterly financial data, providing insights into key financial trends and variances.

VAT Compliance: Ensure timely preparation and filing of VAT returns in accordance with UAE regulations.

Corporate Tax Compliance: Prepare and file annual corporate tax returns and support tax audits and assessments as applicable.

Regulatory & Statutory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with UAE corporate laws, local regulatory frameworks, and reporting standards.

Audit Coordination: Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate audit processes.

Banking Operations: Licensing with Banks for fund and non-fund-based facility, payments, collection and reconciliation.

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist management in annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic planning, including tracking actuals vs. budget and variance analysis.


Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation and timely submission of accurate financial reports in compliance with IFRS, along with handling monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS, VAT filings, corporate tax submissions, and ensuring adherence to UAE statutory and regulatory compliance requirements. This role demands strong accounting acumen, hands-on experience with Tally and Excel, and the ability to work effectively with auditors and senior management to support informed decision-making and ensure financial discipline.


Education: BCom / MCom / CA Intermediate / CA / MBA (Finance) / ICWAI

Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles
Preference given to candidates with UAE experience

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of IFRS, accounting standards, and financial compliance

Solid understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations

Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Key Competencies:

Proven expertise in IFRS-based financial reporting and statutory compliance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage periodic financial cycles

Ability to work hands-on at the transaction level as well as engage in higher-level analysis

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with auditors, consultants, and internal teams

Preferred Attributes:

UAE work experience with familiarity in local financial and tax compliance

Capable of working in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment

Adaptable and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement

Valid passport for international travel and compliance purposes
