Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

· Oversee financial operations to align with organizational strategy, policies, and accounting standards.

· Manage budgeting processes and submit reports for review and approval.

· Supervise investment and revenue activities for efficiency and effectiveness.

· Lead short- and long-term financial planning to ensure sustainability and meet strategic goals.

· Ensure accurate recording and documentation of financial transactions and fixed asset management.

· Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet obligations.

· Oversee compliance with accounting standards, policies, and tax regulations.

· Coordinate financial activities across departments and provide financial advice on projects and contracts.

· Advise on financial strategy, revenue implications, and risk management.

· Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to management and stakeholders.

· Supervise and evaluate the performance of financial staff, ensuring adherence to policies and KPIs.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial performance and effectiveness.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.

· Professional experience ranging from 6 to 8 years in accounting, financial management, or a related field.

· Previous experience in financial affairs within the academic or educational sector, preferably with well-known institutions, is preferred

· Professional certifications in financial management such as CFA, CPA, or CMA are considered added value.
