Roles & Responsibilities

Role purpose

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of core banking system implementations within financial service. This role ensures that projects are executed efficiently, aligned with strategic business objectives, and compliant with regulatory standards. The Project Manager will oversee planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and risk management, while driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-impact solutions on time and within budget.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives

Project Governance, Risk & Issue Management

Capture lessons learned and integrated them into future project planning

Stakeholder Engagement, communicate with stakeholders and ensure alignment across departments

Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget

Core competencies
  • Extensive knowledge of digital financial solutions and related technologies.
  • Deep understanding of project lifecycle, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to align projects with business strategy and prioritize based on value, risk, and resource capacity.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to manage diverse stakeholders across business units.

Technical proficiency to evaluate solution feasibility and integration.
