FINANCIAL SPECIALIST King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (Gen. Org.)

1. Acts as a subject matter expert and/or resource to Accountants and Senior Accountants on payment processing.

2. Reviews, analyses and verifies financial reports and documents for accuracy; makes necessary adjustments or corrections through journal entries or other established procedures.

3. Researches and interprets a variety of complex technical information in response to inquiries.

4. Recommends or participates in the development of new procedures and policies related to financial operations; assists in coordinating approved changes within the system; updates the policy/procedure manuals.

5. Coordinates schedules and conducts training sessions for departmental key staff to explain and/or update information regarding policies and procedures; tracks progress of specialized work projects or department functions.

6. Responds verbally or in writing to inquiries, complaints or problems and makes necessary adjustments of a non-routine nature.

7. Initiates payment processing quality assurance reviews; identifies training issues and/or problem-prone processes to ensure optimal efficiency and error-free transactions.

8. Follows all related Hospital policies and procedures.

9. Participates in self and others education, training and development as applicable.
