Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform all tasks related to the preparation, analysis, implementation, and monitoring of the organization s annual budget, in accordance with approved financial systems and regulations, to ensure the optimal use of financial resources, support financial planning and decision-making processes, and contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of public expenditure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record financial disbursements received from donor entities in the approved financial systems to ensure accurate accounting documentation and proper inclusion within the current accounts of funded projects.
  • Register transactions related to Venture Capital companies and prepare a monthly position report for the trial balance and journal entries.
  • Record transactions for equity-participated companies (financial investments in companies), add the organization s annual entitlements, monitor and record changes in the organization s ownership share, and prepare a consolidated status report.
  • Monitor the movement of grants and loans from donor agencies (local and international) and prepare monthly and annual balance reports.
  • Record accruals and collections for all organizational investments (deposits, treasury bills, and government bonds) in both Egyptian pounds and foreign currencies, and follow up on bank account movements (account funding).
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for all organizational bank accounts on a periodic basis, monitor debit and credit balances, and execute necessary adjustments.
  • Monitor the movement of fixed assets (additions, disposals, sales), execute monthly depreciation entries, and prepare the required reports.
  • Record currency revaluation transactions for loans and grants from donor entities related to the organization s bank accounts.
  • Monitor debit and credit account movements and carry out the necessary reconciliations.
  • Participate in the preparation of the organization s final financial statements, subsidiaries financials, and the consolidated balance sheet on a monthly and annual basis.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Commerce Accounting major (English Section) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
