Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install and finish detailed woodwork, including moldings, trim, and cabinetry, ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship and aesthetics.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute designs and specifications for various projects.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood materials using hand and power tools, maintaining precision to meet project requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless integration of finishing work with other construction elements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in carpentry principles and practices.
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in carpentry or a related field, demonstrating hands-on experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in finishing carpentry, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
  • Certification from a carpentry trade organization is preferred, indicating a commitment to professional development.
