Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install and finish detailed woodwork, including moldings, trim, and cabinetry, ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship and aesthetics.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute designs and specifications for various projects.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials using hand and power tools, maintaining precision to meet project requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless integration of finishing work with other construction elements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong foundation in carpentry principles and practices.
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in carpentry or a related field, demonstrating hands-on experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in finishing carpentry, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
Certification from a carpentry trade organization is preferred, indicating a commitment to professional development.
