Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
"We are IVEC Contracting, a growing construction and contracting company delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. We are currently looking for a Finishing Supervisor with solid experience in all types of finishing works. An engineering degree is not required; practical expertise and proven track record are what matter."
Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities on-site, ensuring work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
Inspect and monitor the quality of finishing works, including plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry, and other related trades.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth workflow.
Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to guide finishing teams effectively.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all finishing operations.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and resource needs.
Manage and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment for finishing tasks efficiently.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify defects or deviations from quality standards.
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of finishing materials and supplies.
Train and mentor junior staff and workers to uphold best practices in finishing works.
