Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform recurring preventive maintenance on installed fire detection and alarm systems IAW UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer s instructions in order to ensure the inspection of testing of installed fire detection, fire door, and alarm system at least once each contract year.

Perform corrective maintenance on installed fire detection, fire alarm, fire door, and mass notification systems IAW applicable UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer s instructions, to return a system or component to full operating condition.

Perform repair on installed fire detection, fire alarm, and mass notification systems IAW UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer s instructions, to return a system or component to full operating condition.

Respond within all emergency service calls (1As) within thirty (30) minutes of initial notification from customer, COR, or Customer Service Unit to repair an installed automatic fire alarm system with no late responses allowed.

Provide quarterly training to Air Force personnel (such as firefighters) on simple procedures for clearing the various Fire Alarm Systems and components and resetting fire alarm panels to restore operational capability.

For each newly constructed facility, the Contractor shall install a new antenna mast (Government provided), connect the transceiver to the installed panel, program the new fire alarm panel to the Monaco system, and test the installation to ensure that the system is effectively communicating with the Monaco equipment (i.e., if any detector goes off in the building, the alarm is sent to ECC Fire Dispatch).

Provide technical advice when requested by the COR for fire protection systems work proposed on work requests by other base agencies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Must have an Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems Level II certification from NICET with 3 years experience.

Registered, licensed, or certified by a state or local authority.

Highschool Diploma or equivalent.

All personnel must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Valid US or local driver's license and US passport.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.

Ability to successfully pass and maintain CENTOM contract medical requirements for duration of deployment

Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
