Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of fire and gas detection systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Calibrate and maintain fire and gas detection equipment, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
  • Perform functional testing of fire alarm and gas detection systems, documenting results and addressing any discrepancies immediately.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans, ensuring all team members are trained and prepared.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of an associate degree in fire science, engineering, or a related technical field is required for foundational knowledge.

  • Professional certifications such as NFPA, ISA, or equivalent in fire and gas detection systems will significantly enhance your candidacy.

  • At least 2-5 years of hands-on experience in fire and gas systems within industrial settings is essential to ensure immediate contribution.

  • Experience with installation and maintenance of fire and gas detection systems in oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
