Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertly install fire sprinkler systems, including mains, branch lines, and sprinkler heads, ensuring precise alignment and adherence to blueprints.
  • Perform meticulous pipe fitting, cutting, threading, and joining of various pipe materials (steel, copper, CPVC) using specialized tools and techniques.
  • Conduct thorough pressure testing of fire protection systems to identify and rectify leaks, guaranteeing system integrity and operational readiness.
  • Interpret complex fire protection system drawings, specifications, and schematics to execute installations and repairs accurately.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship program is highly preferred.
  • Possesses a valid Journeyman or Master Pipefitter license, demonstrating competency and expertise in the field.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as a Certified Fire Sprinkler Inspector (CFSI) or NICET certifications, enhancing credibility.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in fire protection system installation and maintenance.
