Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Setting up fire alarm and suppression systems, including wiring, smoke detectors, control panels, and other components.
2. Conducting regular tests and inspections of systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and comply with local fire safety codes.
3. Diagnosing and fixing malfunctions, replacing faulty parts, and performing maintenance to keep systems operational.
4. Reviewing building blueprints and assessing fire hazards to recommend appropriate safety solutions and ensure compliance.
5. Teaching building staff or employees how to use and maintain their fire protection systems.
