FIRE LIFE SAFETY (FLS) CONSULTANT & INSPECTOR

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in an initial intensive and comprehensive training programme in the UAE, designed to provide a strong foundation in fire safety principles and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Conduct fire safety inspections on various buildings and facilities across Saudi Arabia, ensuring compliance with local fire safety regulations and standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing Fire Life Safety (FLS) strategies, evacuation procedures, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborate with clients, regulatory authorities, and project teams to address fire safety concerns and recommendations.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
• Provide fire safety advice and guidance to clients, helping them to enhance their safety standards.
• Stay updated on local fire safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Travel throughout Saudi Arabia, sometimes at short notice, to various locations as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering.
• Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers as a professional engineer.
• Previous experience in fire safety or knowledge of the Saudi Building Code is beneficial but not mandatory (on-the-job training will be provided).
• Must be a Saudi national.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic.
• Strong passion for fire safety and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to travel frequently and spend time in different locations across Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
