Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Continuously patrol the designated area, actively seeking out potential fire hazards like sparks, smoldering materials, or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a clear and unobstructed view of all work areas, ensuring no blind spots exist that could conceal a fire.
- Promptly report any observed fire hazards or unsafe activities to the designated fire safety personnel or supervisor.
- Immediately initiate fire suppression efforts using provided equipment (extinguishers, water hoses) for small fires, following proper procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, demonstrating a basic level of education.
- Possession of a valid Fire Watch certification from a recognized training provider is essential.
- Current certification in basic first aid and CPR is highly desirable, showing preparedness for medical emergencies.
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting is preferred, providing relevant industry knowledge.
