Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Continuous monitoring of hot work activities such as welding, cutting & grinding

Ensure fire extinguishers & firefighting equipment are available and in working condition

Identify combustible materials & ensure complete removal before hot work begins

Maintain effective communication with the safety team and permit holder

Inspect work area for sparks, heat, and unsafe conditions during and after work

Participate in emergency response and fire control activities if required

Maintain compliance with HSE standards, PTW system & Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

Tools & Equipment Knowledge

  • Fire extinguishers (CO2, Dry Chem, Foam)
  • Fire blankets, sand buckets
  • Gas detector, spark arrestor
  • Breathing apparatus (Basic awareness)

Desired Candidate Profile

10th / ITI / Diploma

3 6 years in Oil & Gas projects (Shutdown / Maintenance preferred)

Must have experience with hot work activities inside plants & refineries
