Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Firefighting Technician


Technical skills

  • Knowledge of fire safety systems (SSI)
  • Mastery of hydraulic equipment (pumps, fire networks)
  • Reading plans and technical diagrams
  • Notions in electricity and automation
  • Knowledge of fire safety standards

Behavioral skills

  • Rigour and sense of responsibility
  • Responsiveness in an emergency
  • Good interpersonal skills and pedagogy
  • Diploma: TS / BTS / T in electrotechnics, industrial maintenance, HSE or equivalent
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience desired in a similar position (beginner accepted according to profile)

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Install and commission fire safety equipment:
    • Extinguishers
    • RIA (Fire Hydrants)
    • Fire detection systems
    • Sprinklers
    • Dry and wet columns
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance operations
  • Diagnose malfunctions and ensure repairs
  • Write intervention reports and control sheets
