Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including BOQ, rate analysis, and bill of materials based on design drawings, site surveys, and contract documents.
  • Perform precise quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications to determine material and labor requirements.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Prepare competitive bids and proposals in line with client requirements and specifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and quotations.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising design intent or quality.
  • Track and monitor project costs, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain budget alignment.
  • Evaluate, prepare, and negotiate variations and change orders with clients and subcontractors.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, proposals, and related project documentation.
  • Review scope of works, contract terms, and conditions; prepare BOQs, variations, invoicing, and cost reports as required.
  • Stay updated with market rates, materials, and industry trends to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fit-out estimation, preferably with interior design and build projects.
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and construction methods in the interior fit-out industry.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and Plan Swift.
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining regular communication with the Dubai team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
