Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all post-contract commercial aspects of fit-out projects (offices, retail, hospitality, residential, and joinery packages)
- Prepare and submit monthly interim valuations and payment applications
- Identify, value, negotiate, and agree variations / change orders
- Review and certify subcontractor invoices and payments
- Track project costs against budget and provide accurate cost reporting
- Prepare final accounts and lead settlement negotiations
- Assist with claims preparation and contractual correspondence
- Conduct regular site measurements and maintain accurate records
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 8 years post-contract experience in interior fit-out projects
- UAE/GCC experience is mandatory (previous work with fit-out contractors in Dubai highly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of variations management, cost control, and final account settlement
- Familiarity with FIDIC or local UAE contract forms
- Proficient in MS Excel; experience with AutoCAD, CostX, Candy or similar is an advantage
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Immediate availability or short notice preferred
- Valid UAE driving license is a plus
