Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Complete inspection, maintenance, repair and modification of commercial grade fitness equipment assigned in accordance with the performance work statement. Uses technical manuals, bulletins and written directives in the performance of all work. Identify and maintain bench stock to satisfy immediate replacement requirements. Troubleshoots equipment, diagnoses problems, performs corrective action and track work completion according to all applicable regulations and codes. Perform duties safely, in accordance with OSHA safety standards and ensure all work areas and equipment are kept clean, orderly and in a safe manner. Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools). Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Shall be courteous to customers and able to identify and verbally communicate all items in English. Perform other duties as assigned
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Certified through Life Fitness or equivalent to perform maintenance on equipment
- Experience: A minimum of four (4) years experience providing fitness equipment maintenance.
- Skills: Able and willing to perform other duties as needed, as skills and program allow. Good teamwork and customer service skills. Must be able to complete work requirements independently. Must be fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
