Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct personalized fitness assessments to understand client goals and limitations, crafting bespoke workout plans for optimal results.
  • Lead group fitness classes, ensuring a motivating and safe environment while demonstrating proper exercise techniques and providing modifications.
  • Provide expert guidance on exercise form, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices, empowering clients to achieve sustainable wellness.
  • Monitor client progress, offering encouragement and adjustments to training programs as needed to maximize effectiveness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workout space, ensuring all equipment is in working order and readily accessible.
  • Stay current with the latest fitness trends and research, continuously expanding your knowledge and skills through professional development.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages long-term engagement and retention.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in exercise science or a related field is preferred.
  • Hold a nationally recognized fitness certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM) with current CPR/AED certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a certified fitness instructor, demonstrating practical application of fitness principles.
  • Experience in the fitness industry, including working in gyms, studios, or wellness centers.
  • Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
