Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the Membership Consultant (MC) team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
Generate and follow up on leads to convert prospective clients into gym members.
Conduct tours of the gym facilities for potential members, showcasing the unique features and benefits.
Promote and sell gym memberships, personal training packages, and other services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing members to encourage retention and referrals.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement sales strategies and campaigns.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Stay updated with the latest fitness trends and offerings to provide knowledgeable information to clients.
Act as the Manager on Duty during assigned shifts, overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
Analyze daily sales reports and performance metrics, and communicate findings and insights to the head office team to ensure alignment and continuous improvement in sales strategies.
Organize and execute outreach activities, such as community events and partnerships, to increase brand exposure and generate new leads for the gym.
Develop and manage corporate partnerships and activities to promote gym memberships and services to local businesses and organizations.
Utilize CRM software to manage customer relationships, track interactions, and optimize member engagement and retention strategies.
KPI Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed set monthly KPIs, ensuring targets are achieved and performance metrics are monitored and reported effectively.
MPC Achievement: Ensure all team members consistently meet or exceed set Minimum Performance Criteria (MPC) metrics, monitoring performance closely and implementing strategies to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.
Member Journey Management: Oversee and enhance the member journey by ensuring seamless onboarding, personalized fitness assessments, and continuous engagement throughout their membership experience to maximize satisfaction and retention.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the fitness or hospitality industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with CRM software and office applications.
Passion for fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
