Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Precisely assemble and fit mechanical components, ensuring alignment and tolerances meet stringent engineering specifications to minimize operational failures.
- Interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand assembly requirements and identify necessary materials and tools accurately.
- Perform precision cutting, shaping, and joining of materials using various hand and power tools, maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process, identifying and rectifying any defects or deviations from specifications promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational understanding of mechanical principles.
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational training program in mechanical fitting or a related field, showcasing practical skills.
- Possession of relevant certifications, such as a Certified Fitter or similar, validating professional competence.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical fitting or a related role, providing hands-on expertise.
