Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Country Director, the FLAT Officer represents Acted's interests at the base level with local authorities, donors, beneficiary populations, and other key stakeholders. The FLAT Officer oversees the day-to-day operational implementation of projects and the security of the base in question. The FLAT Officer also supports project managers by ensuring that projects and programs are adapted to the needs of beneficiaries and that they are implemented in accordance with Acted's overall strategy and donor guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

University training in a relevant field such as international development, emergency operations, humanitarian programming, a technical diploma in camp management, etc.;

Extensive experience in project management (management, planning, staff development and training skills) within the framework of emergency and/or development programs;

Basic management skills preferred;

At least four years of relevant professional experience, preferably in camps;

Proven ability in leadership and management;

Ability to work correctly and punctually under pressure;

Excellent mastery of written and spoken English;

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, and flexibility in terms of culture and organization;

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
