Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop efficient driver schedules to maximize profits
  • Manage drivers so they adhere to strict schedules
  • Register and license all vehicles under their management
  • Find ways to cut costs and maximize profits
  • Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiency
  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
  • Supervise and coordinate daily tasks of pickup drivers and field reps
  • Monitor vehicle schedules, routes, and maintenance
  • Ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and field activities
  • Track fuel usage, mileage, and report performance metrics
  • Handle driver and rep attendance, training, and evaluations
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and proper use of vehicles
  • Solve on-road issues and support the team in real time
  • Communicate with other departments for smooth operations
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure records are kept as needed
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with various departments
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Familiar with route planning and GPS tracking tools
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven work experience as a Fleet Manager
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Fleet Manager
