Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the company s vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal utilization and adherence to schedules.
Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to align fleet activities with production and delivery requirements.
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements for all fleet operations.
Supervise and mentor drivers and fleet staff, providing training and performance feedback as needed.
Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring timely servicing, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime.
Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, including fuel consumption, mileage, and operational costs, to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and incidents, preparing regular reports for management.
Implement and optimize route planning to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Handle incident and accident investigations, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions.
Collaborate with procurement to support vehicle acquisition, leasing, and disposal processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
4 to 5 years of proven experience in fleet supervision or logistics operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of fleet management systems, vehicle maintenance, and transportation regulations.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in route planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in fleet operations.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing operational needs.
