A Fleet Sales Executive is a pivotal role within the automotive sales industry, focusing on cultivating and maintaining relationships with corporate clients and businesses to drive large volume sales. This position requires an individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of understanding client needs, and providing tailored advice on a range of vehicle options that best suit those requirements. The Fleet Sales Executive not only pursues new business opportunities but also fosters long-term partnerships, ensuring continuous customer satisfaction and loyalty. By managing a client portfolio, the executive ensures sales targets are consistently achieved or surpassed through strategic planning and a strong grasp of market trends.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate clients and business partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve fleet sales targets.
- Provide expert advice to clients on suitable fleet options and packages.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with corporate clients and companies.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to implement promotional strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and sales reports for management review.
- Participate in trade shows and networking events to promote fleet services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across all sales activities.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of fleet vehicles.
- Utilize CRM tools to maintain up-to-date records of client interactions and sales progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales executive or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and corporate fleet management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships with clients.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
