Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations of the company s fleet, ensuring optimal utilization and timely dispatch of vehicles.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to align fleet schedules with production and delivery requirements.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards for all fleet activities.
- Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to maximize fleet reliability and minimize downtime.
- Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Manage fleet documentation, including vehicle registration, insurance, and maintenance records.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate drivers and fleet staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Implement cost-control measures related to fuel, maintenance, and operational expenses.
- Respond promptly to incidents, accidents, or emergencies involving fleet vehicles, ensuring proper reporting and resolution.
- Collaborate with procurement and management teams to recommend fleet upgrades or replacements as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
4-6 years of proven experience in fleet supervision, logistics, or transportation management.
- Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to operational demands.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Experience in the poultry, food production, or agricultural sector is a plus.
