Job Summary:

The Flight Dispatch Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the safe and efficient dispatch of flights. This includes preparing and filing flight plans, obtaining necessary permits and approvals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Prepare and file flight plans, including calculating fuel requirements, flight routes, and altitudes.

2. Plan and coordinate flight routes, taking into account weather, air traffic control restrictions, and other factors.

3. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for flights, including overflight permits and landing permits.

4.Monitor weather conditions and provide updates to pilots and other stakeholders.

5.Calculate aircraft performance, including takeoff and landing distances, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

6. Calculate weight and balance of aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

7. Communicate with pilots, air traffic control, and other stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.

8.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of flight plans, weather forecasts, and other relevant information.

9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety procedures.
