Roles & Responsibilities

Overview The Flight School Supply Lead holds a critical role in managing and overseeing the Flight School supply operations in support of OPM SANG, ensuring the seamless procurement, distribution, and maintenance of essential supplies, equipment, and materials specifically related to the Flight School. This position is instrumental in maintaining optimal operational readiness and supporting the mission objectives of the school's training activities. Responsibilities Flight School Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes for Flight school-related materials, including procurement, storage, and distribution. Collaborate with logistics personnel to optimize the supply chain for efficiency. Inventory Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of all supplies and equipment. Conduct regular audits to ensure precise inventory management and promptly address discrepancies. Distribution and Logistics for Flight School: Develop and implement distribution strategies specifically tailored for training supplies and equipment to ensure timely and accurate delivery to all units within the flight school. Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to optimize delivery schedules. Quality Assurance for Flight School Supplies: Implement quality control measures to ensure received training supplies meet Flight School requirements. Monitor and address any issues related to the quality of all requested supplies. Budget Management for Flight School: Assist in budget planning and monitoring specifically for Flight School supply-related expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising the operational needs of Flight School training supplies and assets. Additional duties or tasks as directed by management. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Highschool diploma required. Must be familiar with DOD procedures, regulations and directives concerning logistics support and supply systems; includes IMRL & ALMMS programs as it applies to organizational and intermediate level maintenance Must have four (4) years of experience specializing in a DOD aviation/material control environment. Must have U.S drivers license and Passport Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include medical, drug testing, background checks, etc. DD214 required for military experience.
