Roles & Responsibilities
COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
- You respect the SOFITEL product, know the Concept, adhere to it and ensure its full implementation by your teams.
- You are responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of the staff working under your supervision, and you share responsibility for the image projected by your department.
- You ensure that the premises and equipment are kept in an impeccably clean condition and are maintained. You report to the Housekeeper/li>
- General, the set of interventions to be undertaken.
- You establish excellent customer contact (reception and follow-up), you receive verbal complaints and deal with those that can have an immediate solution.
- You constantly develop a commercial attitude and pass it on to your team.
- You are constantly concerned about the quality of your work and service.
MANAGERIAL AND RELATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES.
- You define the work organization of each member of your team, and organize information and consultation meetings in your department at a regular pace, allowing everyone to express themselves.
- You participate each year in the development of an internal training plan for the members of your team, based on the objectives of the Brand, the Management and your department.
- You participate in and lead internal training meetings, using this plan, and implement this training in the field.
- You receive information about your service and your hotel as well as from the Brand and the Group, and you pass it on to your team.
- You may be required to participate, in close collaboration with the Head Housekeeper, in the recruitment of staff.
- You ensure compliance with the procedure for integrating new hires, and its progress.
- You promote dialogue with your colleagues, and ensure the personal development of your employees.
- You ensure perfect coordination between your team and the Reception department.
- You will have an annual review and guidance meeting with your Head of Department and may be required to conduct this meeting with members of your department, submitting all supporting documents to the Executive Housekeeper. For any unforeseen problem, you will conduct a "Flash" meeting.
- Upward communication: You transmit all information to your department head
- useful for your service as well as the anomalies observed.
- You feel involved in all the activities and in achieving the Hotel's objectives.
- You are aware of the opportunities for advancement in your position and manage your promotion through your motivation and initiative.
- Thanks to your honesty and good morals, you convey a positive image of your company.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You organize your work effectively according to the tasks assigned to you.
- You ensure the application of laws, hotel regulations, and compliance with internal procedures.
- You are responsible for the presentation of each room and its sanitary facilities: cleanliness, functioning of equipment, harmony of decor.
- You report any technical faults and ensure their repair in collaboration with the technical department.
- You are responsible for managing all the operational stocks necessary for the proper functioning of your department:
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience in the hotel sector preferred.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Sense of organization and rigor.
- Good communication and discretion.
